because John Green decreases world suck
This is a blog mainly in tribute to John Green, but since I never stay on track with anything I do, I'll probably put other nerdy stuff on it now and again. It's a sickness.

I adore John with the passion of a thousand burning suns. In my book, that's quite a lot.

Besides re-reading Looking for Alaska, my favorite things to do to help myself procrastinate are; writing bad poetry, pretending to be a great poet, imaging myself to be a sophisticated young british woman, drinking tea in my Harry Potter cup, pretending not to be swedish, watching movies that make me feel alive and trying unsuccessfully to love the world.

May the force be with you guys.

JOHN GREEN

Hank, before I move forward with this discussion, I should acknowledge that as a child I was an inveterate liar… As opposed to now, when I am a novelist.”

sometimes, i look at john green and it feels as if the whole world is perfect

"Harry Potter isn’t real? Oh no! Wait, wait, what do you mean by real? Is this video blog real? Am I real if you can see me and hear me, but only through the internet? Are you real if I can read your comment but I don’t know who you are or what your name is or where you’re from or what you look like or how old you are? I know all of those things about Harry Potter. Maybe Harry Potter’s real and you’re not."  - John Green (via worldnspins)

"But then in middle school science, Mr. Martinez asked who among us had ever fantasized about living in the clouds, and everyone raised their hand. Then Mr. Martinez told us that up in the clouds the wind blew one hundred and fifty miles an hour and the temperature was thirty below zero and there was no oxygen and we’d all die within seconds."  - John Green - The Fault in Our Stars (via thinanddancing)
